How about a tutorial?

Journal Entry: Mon Apr 7, 2014, 11:15 AM

    I've noticed recently that many people have faved my reeeealy old "Sonic Maker Tutorials", which I actually find really odd. I mean they are pretty old, untide and I wasn't even good back then XD
    Back to the point!

    I was wondering if anyone would be interested on seing new and impoved tutorials from me. If you are interested, you can request anything you want, but I specialize mainly on Sonic and MLP style. I also draw humans, but I am pretty new to this, so I don't know if I can give any good tips.

    Also, I work mainly on Gimp and MSpaint and have a little experience on Paint.Net. I had Photoshop CS3, but not anymore. As for Paint Tool Sai so I couldn't be of any help sorry.

    So yeah, feel free to tell me your ideas!

I must confess, sometimes I get carried away with my studies on Ancient Greece that I consider myself a Hellenist, and I even think of the Ancient Greeks as my ancestors, not ethnically but ideologically. After all, I'm Chinese.

And I can't help being bias as well; believing Greek (and even Roman) culture better. ^^;
When the Ancient Greeks and Romans built and live in cities and create art and technology, other Europeans like the Gauls and Germanic people in other parts of Europe, they are somewhat behind social and societal development. At least by the look of them; I didn't study much about them. ^^;

As musch as I admire these cultures I have to say that we shouldn't ignore the other civilizations. Your country had an admirable history and contributed to modern philosophy and science as well.

I think that every country has something interesting to show, maybe you just haven't found it yet?

I don't ignore them, they are unique in their own way. I just got pride in my work.
By the way, am I considered a "Hellenist?" But I don't speak Greek and still know little of (Ancient) Greek culture and customs. ^^;
I'm hoping to study other (ancient) cultures after Greece and Rome, such as the Vikings, and Celts, hopefully, my natural heritage, China, and even Christianity, Judaism, and Islam.
However, it can be difficult when you're studying a culture other than the one you recognize; I don't where to start.

That reminds me. Today, people of Western society are afraid of Muslims and Islam, but what most of people did not realize that the Muslims during the Middle/Medieval Ages were scholars who gave math and science, such as algebra, and keep the Classical knowledge of Ancient Greece and even Roman survived when Christian Europeans would (or even did) destroy these ancient works as a sign of heresy and paganism.
From what I have learned, the Muslims (of the past) has contributed their intellectual works to our societies.

And another one, the Persians. Though they were your enemies of your ancestors and their government is a form of 'tyranny,' but their society is believe to be free: no slavery, (some) freedom to women, and religiously tolerant. There's an artifact called the "Cyrus Cylinder," a earliest written document for human rights.

And from what I heard, Baghdad, capital of Iraq, was not always a war zone or place of dictatorship. I heard it used to be fertile city and a place of education in the ancient or Middle Ages.

Some cultures had contributed their intellectual knowledge to our today lives.
Unfortunately however, some places or cultures are blocked by our fears. Even I'm a learning person, even I have doubts of some people of particular cultures.
